- Sand the tabletop and remove dust from surface using the tack cloth.
- Spread out the old sheet or drop cloth and place the wood on it.
- Spray-paint with first color choice, using sweeping motions. Allow to dry.
- Apply painter’s tape. Leave four exposed wedge shapes.
- Spray-paint with second color choice, using sweeping motions. Allow to dry.
- Remove painter’s tape. Cover one strip on inside of first-color wedges and cover all second-color paint with painter’s tape.
- Spray-paint with third color choice, using sweeping motions. Allow to dry.
- Apply polyurethane. Sand. Remove dust. Repeat.
- Drill hole in the center of the tabletop and insert end of rope. Tie a knot on the bottom.
- Hang on a sturdy branch.
